If you are still in cold weather. I mean you still have days below 32 degrees you need to order your plants and pot them and put them indoors by a window where they can get sunshine. The warmth of the house or apartment will trick them into thinking it is Spring and will give the blueberry plants a head start.
If you are in above freezing weather then plant them outside either in pots or the ground where they can get lots of sunshine. Make sure you use a good quality potting soil. Ask your local nursery about a low pH soil mix. Somewhere around 5-6 pH. Or you can just add half peat moss to any dirt and your plant will thrive!
I had forgotten how wonderful blueberries are to eat. When I noticed my plants had blossomed it reminded me I had so many blueberries from my Little Giant blueberry plants last year that I had put several bags in the freezer. I got a bag out yesterday and had some blueberries on my breakfast cereal. Yummy!

Like I said, order your plants as soon as you can. These hearty little plants seem to grow everywhere in the US, North, South, East or West. What is great is they will produce for years to come. I can’t remember the last time I bought blueberries at the grocery store. I must have saved a small fortune by now.

Is there a Little Giant Blueberry scam? Yes there is a scam going on and you need to know about it.
There are scam companies trying to sell their blueberry plants by claiming their plants produce as much as the little giant blueberry plant brand does. Don’t believe them. It is a scam. If you buy these other brands you will be very disappointed.
I wasn’t aware of this scam until I started getting emails from people who had bought them and then realized they had been scammed because the plants they got were not from the Little Giant Blueberry company.
I am not going to put a link to the other companies or mention their names because that will only help them scam others. All I can say is if you use the links from this site you will get genuine Little Giant Blueberry brand plants.
Just a note about other emails I have received from people who have bought their plants through the links on this site. They are having great success and getting tons of blueberries like I am.
Almost everyone who emails me tells me that they really feel the reason they have been so successful in growing giant plants is because of the “secret” of starting them inside (in cold weather) and using peat moss.
These plants need acidic soil. Peat moss is exactly what they need. Another secret is to plant them close together. No further then three feet from each other. This is very important in order for them to pollinate.
